The World must boycott Pakistan

When I was cricket crazy in my pre university days, I was cursing Mr. Bal Thackerey, as the Shiv Sena always wanted India not to play Pakistan. Now as I give more importance to country than Cricket, my feeling has definitely changed. Now I feel that Bal Thackerey was right. This nation called Pakistan is a house of all the terrors. My initial feeling was that India should not go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. And the BCCI must severe its relationship with the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board). For some reason, the BCCI tends to back PCB too much. The question of supporting Pakistan for BCCI is something to do with the Asian origin but Pakistan doesnt deserve support from India. Sharad Pawar being a national leader himself must realise that Pakistan is behind all this. Unless the world teaches Pakistan a few lessons, they will not correct themselves. Their national policies have to change. They have to focus on becoming a better Economic nation and a cultured nation than a terrorist nation. Cursing India will not help; being envious of India is not going to help. It is only going to hurt them all the more if India decide to pay it back in the same coin. Right from Kargil till the recent violation of cease fire, I feel very sad that we not valuing the lives of our Jawans who give up their lives for the country. As of now India should have nothing to do with Pakistan till the Paksitani nation learns some manners and plays a responsible part in the world scheme of things.

I am very happy that the Australian Cricket Board decided not to visit the terror hit Pakistan. It is because of their strong stance that the Champions Trophy was postponed and it has given me some solace. I would have been really unhappy if India toured Pakistan for the Champions Trophy when Pakistan is killing our soldiers in the border and is doing nothing to stop terrorists from bombing various cities in India. I am sure without the support of the Pakistan, the recent bombings would not have taken place. India must boycott everything that is Pakistani.. It must hurt them. Such a peace loving nation as ours, such sympathizing people as our people are being made to be brutes only because of Pakistan. The Indian Press is so afraid to mention the name of Pakistan. A few days, I was reading Deccan Herald about some violence during Ganesh Visarjan, the report said, some people of one community(read Muslims - not mentioned by the paper) were shouting the name of one country(read Pakistan - not mentioned by the paper). I dont understand why it should be called a news paper.

Nor do I have any ill feelings towards the recent happenings in Mangalore. It always hurts a Hindu when a human being suffers. But in Mangalore the religious conversions or the emphasis of their religion (of Christians) is going on for some time. One of my lecturers who was working in a Christian institute few years back had told me this. The reaction was only due. Of course It hurt me a lot when I saw a Christian child in Kandhalam hit by these riots. But it appeared to me that so many Hindus have been murdered that way. So many have been rendered homeless. The Kashmiri Pundits have long been forgotten. The non Hindu religions must not interfere with the religious matters of Hindus. It is also quite safe for them to accept India as their country and be loyal to it. All these days, the naturally mild Hindu had taken things with a forgiving attitude, now its not going to happen any more. The faster the other religions mind their business, the better it is for them.

Hi, It is really a nice article which has clear words about your thought instead of managing secularism. But I am not convinced about the action you mentioned towards pakisthan. It seems good but never brings peace between us. When people are on dope of religion, nobody can help them out since they are not concious. Troubled one deffinitely gets the community which harms us more. Instead of this, we can declare a war and conquer the country and brings strict law to define the unity. Too much to think. But anyway, appreciate your clear way of thinking. Keep it up.

While it is thought provoking,I feel that a global stance must be taken towards Pakistan, very much like how Cricket Australia(CA) has done. But with some other countries(read- china/US) backing Pakistan to realize their motives, it would be some time before they actually tighten the screws. In the same breadth i also suggest to BCCI that instead of playing a Champions trophy and pocketing the money, let them play a "Jawan's Trophy" and all the booty be given to the poor war souls. After all Indian cricketers are well paid...

Mr Naveen C K,what you have mentioned is perfectly right, but the way you have represented is condemned in some parts. It is right Pakistan needs strong action,it is not right to bring politics in sports,do you mean to say all pakistanis are terrorist, because of few people, should cricket loving people suffer,we should impose sanctions, economic blockage.Let cricket unite the people of two countries not divide. Is it right to attack religious places? India is nation of one billion with hundreds of religion ,as Indians we should be proud of this,India is a role model for entire world.Incidents as recent one spends negative message to entire world and affects the image of the nation.Punish who are responsible for such incidents, not to damage religious property. Do you think what US is doing right? Is it not killing innocent civilians in the name of war on terror. Do you know why jehad was started?Who was behind it?What prompted him to do so? World is already suffering from hatred, dont make it even worst. Let peace prevail in the world, make a world better for living. Jai Hind

Dear Mr. Arjun That was a popular sentiment some time back saying,"Dont Mix, Cricket and Politics" Actually I am not speaking of politics, which I would like to keep it inside India. This is a National Issue. Do you think without the support of Pakistan, things would have come this far? I am speaking not only of Cricket but everything related to Pakistan. We have to give them some harsh treatments otherwise they wont learn. If the BCCI cites terrorism and backs away from Pakistan, I am certain the whole cricketing community would do the same. Then Pakistan's responsible citizens will wake up and do something. As of now they are just sleeping. As regards to the attack on Churches and such, I am not defending it, but I am saying that this is a result of their own mistake. This could not have been avoided. The Boiling point was reached. As I said earlier in the last part of the article, "The non Hindu religions must not interfere with the religious matters of Hindus. It is also quite safe for them to accept India as their country and be loyal to it. All these days, the naturally mild Hindu had taken things with a forgiving attitude, now its not going to happen any more. The faster the other religions mind their business, the better it is for them."

And About Jihad, please know that there was no Jihad supported by America, when the Islamic rulers of the likes of Mohammad Ghazni plundered India, somebody called Chengis Khan killed thousands of people, women were raped. Even now in Kashmir, you dont know the plight of Hindus, search google for Kashmir Pundits, visit www.hindujagruti.org for more data on those activities. I am not bothered to comment about America now. This is an article about my country and the problems faced by it. Some other time we will discuss America

I am not speaking jehad,I just gave a example of it,It started as a hatred of one man towards a other customs nearly six decade ago,now its treating the existence of world itself, now same thing is happening,it started in Orissa and spread across the nation. If it continues day is not far that it will be a world issue. As you said,it not the problem of our nation,it is problem of whole world. Just for your information, what Americans did in Afghanistan during Soviet war,who sponsored Mujahadeens two decade ago, Let us try to learn from past mistakes, and make sure not repeat it. Its not YOUR COUNTRY,its OUR COUNTRY

Naveena C K      naveena.ck@gmail.com

Yes Its OUR COUNTRY.
